Hunwick Clock and Watch Works
Why the name?
Because i work on clocks and watches at home in Hunwick. (and the web url was simple to remember AND available)
These wiki pages are a collection of notes all related to my interest in the measurement of time (chronometry).
This incudes separate pages for each of my watches in my collection.
I chose this method of organising the notes as it makes it easy to maintain, edit, add and delete pages.
Then to convert the notes to web pages and upload to my web server with one button - simple.
This is in contrast to the Almanac page which is generated dynamically every time it is requested and takes a lot of maintenance
with cgi scripts running python, databases and svg images.
The main index page also uses an animated svg file run by javascript to show the time on a static png image of the clock face.
