Omega 565

Stripped down the Omega watch, found dial had been glued to calendar plate, one of the dial feet was stuck in the mainplate and the other has the retaining screw missing.
The watch was clean but no sign of lube, lower balance jewel retaining spring loose.
Ordered a new mainspring and dial feet.

Parts:
Mainspring: GR2533
Dial Feet: 0.69mm
Click spring: Omega 450-1105
Jewell Retaining spring: Inca 175.03
Lower shock block: 563-1346

Glue on calendar plate & dial foot broken in mainplate

Lower spring broke when i tried refitting it after cleaning, looks like someone has had trouble in the past as both sides of the jewel holder are marked.

Damage to lower balance jewel mount, no wonderthe spring was hanging off...

Observations

  1. On the dial it shows 'PARA SHOCK' but on the case back it shows Incabloc? so which is it, could this indicate it has been re-dialed?
  2. The numbers on the dial don't look lumed?
  3. No markings on crown?
  4. No 'Swiss Made' on dial?

Inspection

The movement in this watch is a FHF 96-4 and the shock mount is neither an incabloc or a parashock and the -4 indicates a date.
the dial is poorly finished with a 'mottled' appearance and the rear is poorly finished.
the case is also very poorly finished, the milling on the edges is rough.
the watch stem does not want to come out of the tube!
On the plus side, it is running, although not very well!
So whatever this watch was originally, it has had a dubious life!
